It's Ok to mention it now.

We re-named it and no one knows what the new name is, in fact I can't even remember… And its ALL NEW and IMPROVED and has ALL NEW features, so there's no comparison…

For my experience with a bbpower chip and a -20 simulator, guess "mouthfullofflake" non sensitive issues should be on somewhere else.
Added the gizmo to a 1150ADV and a K12RS. Worked as supposed pushing the bikes in an emotive way.
Searching for more on the 1150 changed to the chip with Y piece, open Remus, K&N and modified air intakes.
Impressive (yes, BOXER POWER...).
For curiosity added the -20 gizmo. Kept on working making a wild bike best suited for some kind of competition.
A mate with an RT tested the gizmo and it didn't leave the bike anymore.
So...
Go on Poolside!!

Hey there, Train.

I know what you mean, but you can't blame these nice people about the time it's taking. I'm the one holding up the show so to speak. And speaking of show, I have some more pics from the latest batch build from last weekend. I'll put them up later tonight.

Ride report

I thought I'd let you guys know what I experienced.
My 2008 GSA has always stumbled when I accelerated from a stop or from a low speed.
A month or so ago I installed the IICE Air. I noticed the hesitation has gone away. It's pretty subtle, but I'm happy with the results. I can now gun it and not have that hesitation.

Build Process - Start to Finish - Group 2 Pics

Build Process - Start to Finish - Group 1 Pics
Build Process - Start to Finish - Group 2 Pics
Build Process - Start to Finish - Group 3 Pics
Build Process - Start to Finish - Group 4 Pics

...to be continued

These pics show the preparation of the vial that forms the waterproof chamber for the jumper pins.

If you have questions about a particular step, PLEASE DO NOT QUOTE THE ENTIRE RUN OF PICTURES.  Thank you.

The vial is cut to length

A holding jig and a fine-tooth saw blade

Cutting the plastic with a saw leaves some burr

Deburr with a strip of Scotch-brite pad, then check the finish length

The vial needs a few holes to use as tie down points

A small nail heated to red hot is a good tool for this

These holes are used as tie down points

The next set of pics show attaching the vial to the board. Next group of pics.

Be Still My Beating Heart!!!

Sorry I just can't help myself when I see you amongst your toys, tools, plastic tubes, confuzers, wires, diodie things and fancy calipers making go faster fasterer smoother thingy stuffs.

I'm so excited my blood pressure is up. And I feel the need to go get a bowl of ice cream and look through all the pics again...

So the end is near and the start is just around the corner right?

A question for the far future: I have an Air on my 1150, and I like it. I *may* be buying a new 1200 GS this year, and plan to probably keep both bikes. If I don't buy a second air for the new bike right now (in your current pre-order based sale) will I be out of luck forever, or will you go back to making all the devices next year, after the Cool is finished?

Oh yeah, and when can I order my cool?

JC

Hey there, JC.

Regarding builds... As it is, future builds sort of exist at the whim of the customers, if that makes any sense. I'm sure that if the Marketing department were nearby he'd be over here every day lobbying for building an inventory. And 'lobbying' probably doesn't capture the essence.

We must cover the more in-depth sales-related questions in the Vendors thread.
