![]() I think most threads about most popular bikes have issues like that though, probably because there are so many experts on the bike. The KTM LC4 seems OK though because we have a small band of people that know there shit, and everyone else knows they know there shit. Even after they fake there own death they still get all the respect they deserve when they step up with an opinion, just like that Facken Creeper guy. ![]() I stick my nose into KTM talk occasionally for info on my RFS engined bike, and you should see the arguments I have read between a couple of guy who are in the business of rebuilding RFS engines... To many experts I tell ya. And here is a pic of my old DR650rs just to keep it slightly less off topic... ![]()

Thanks Rev and greenlizard. No disrespect to the 99.9% of the guys on the DR thread that are good guys, but at some point, a guy just has to throw the BS flag.
Anyway, cool bikes. Whats the story behind that blue/yellow windscreen?

I just wanted it to look more like a rallye bike.
![]() I don't know if you're familiar with the DR650rs, but it's just a fiberglass screen I made to replace the standard screen, and also to house the twin head lights, the standard rs had one rectangular light.

Looks like a Mad Max DR. I wanted the white one you sold a few months back but it was a little far away. That's not this one is it?

That's the one! I even copied the pic from your ad so I'd have it as a reference later. I like the plain white look. I always thought solid white w/ the big red 'S' Suzuki logo on the tank would look sharp......even thought about painting mine solid white and putting a BMW roundel on the tank just to mess w/ my Beemer buddies.
I just found one much closer. Had to do the starter clutch fix, but it wasn't a big deal. $200 for the part from Jesse and an hour in the garage. For now I"m just riding it. Maybe over what passes for winter here in South Alabama I'll work on some aesthetic improvements and firm up the noodly stock suspension.
