Another pic from Sunday's ride .... at the temp. lights near the 'rest and be thankful' The road was closed here again at the start of the weekend due to the heavy rain storms and the risks of land-slides.

Yeah, it's a tad narrow as vehicles pass each other and with loads of blind crests .....

Cheers for the 'thumbs up' on the pics. I think it's a natural reaction by most Mums, God Bless them, they worry about us.
Don't be fooled by the visibility of the police - they also sometimes use unmarked police cars and bikes to catch you out. ..as you can see further back on the thread.

After the narrow and nadgery road down the side of Loch Long comes the epic Military road with it's fast sweeping open bends and roller coaster dips and crests .... this pic doesn't do it justice ..

Loch Lomond ahead ....

It's totally not possible for the podium, for a lots of reasons

In first, it is an endurance race and the other racer of the team is a beginner, it is his first race.
In second, i ride with a VFR RC36 and there are five RC 30, three ZXR750R, two OW01, and a lot go 750 GIXXER, so if i finish on the podium i will be very lucky

But i always do the best, and i think some RC30 or other could have my RC36 just behind...

I Did that road last month! You are so right! Awesome ride. Looks like it's greened up some since mid May.

Yep, that will be thanks to all the summer rain we have been getting...... this was last week in Inveraray - as you can see a typical cloudy summer's day for us. btw, this is mid afternoon....
