In the background.......... A good shot of "Aunt Nell's Tit".......or as is more commonly known, "Sugar Loaf Mountain".

New tag

OK, I'll play along even though I was late to the party as usual.

Old tag at the top of Cavanal Hill (world's tallest HILL at 1,999') overlooking Poteau, OK. I looked all over and didn't see Aunt Nell or her tit, which by the way is the only reason I went.

I will see you one scenic overlook

And raise you another scenic overlook

But first - that Rick Mitchel is full of shit - NO CHANCE OF RAIN so I didn't even carry any rain gear

Looks like I'm gonna shoot the gap right - wrong

OK, so here's the new tag - have fun and hints available on request.

Hint

OK, I'll make it easy

Myra Belle Shirley, a well known historical Oklahoma figure is buried near this spot.

If that doesn't help I can send GPS coordinates and come pick you up in my trailer and air conditioned truck

That tag is less than 10 miles from my house. If you're headed to get it pm me and if I'm home you can stop by, cool off and get a drink.

I had planned to push tag deep into Winding Stair but storm prevented that or taking to Shirley's grave. Storm was on my heals.

RDJ, should OkieGman pick you up first then swing by to get me? I like the idea of an air conditioned ride to the tag.

I have an enclosed trailer I could bring so the grips wouldn't be too hot for you to push your bike to the tag

No, your Tenere will have to suck it up and bear the heat.

I rode a 150 mile loop on Wednesday. About 103 when I got back. Parked outside garage to get my gear off, sweat pouring down me, went inside to cool off and when I came back out to back bike into garage I about burned my wittle fingers off:loll

Is anyone ever going to get this tag? It would have moved 10 times in back-east-a-stan

I know where it is. No time to get there. I rode by there 2 weeks ago does that count?

It's a 300 mile loop from my house to the tag and home. And that's allowing no extra mileage to find a new tag.

In this heat might burn more than my wittle fingers off. Joe and Snowball have a much longer ride, albeit they get to ride in your air-conditioned truck.

But never fear, we'll get it before long.

Day Ride

If Seahorn Yamaha goes anywhere near the tag on their day dual sport ride tomorrow I'll snag the tag.

Don't know where they are going but we are leaving Seahorn Yamaha at 8:00 AM and will return mid day.
