Awesome RR Yardstick!
I only took a few pics, as I was too busy sweating and wheezing up those switchbacks. Definitely had the feel of a mini Lost Hills kind of ride. ![]() Right out of staging we took 87A, then a "shortcut" we thought would bring us up the north side to Little Mesa atop 9213. It was an interesting little trail. Kinda steep and loose.... ![]() ![]() So, Yardstick, "how would you rate this trail?" Two thumbs up?....hey those don't look like thumbs.... ![]() ![]() When we got to the top, we realized that it only tee's into 9213 about 3/4 of the way up. Hey Nightstalker, does this look familiar?

The view downward
![]() All I remember of the Nightstalker ride up this trail a couple of years ago, was that it was tough! It took us about an hour to get 6 riders up this 1/8 mile section. Even going down it wasn't easy.
