I'm actually going for a slower bike if I do any more Rallymoto events. It's more fun riding a slow bike fast than riding a fast bike slow. You've picked up the pace compared to when you first started, that's for sure.

Anybody doing this event from Ontario (Canada). Just caught wind of this, and and wondering if anyone wanted to carpool. I backed out of the Sandblast this year because of a winter storm, so I've got zero excuses now.

Cheers!

I sleep in my van in the service area. Not officially "camping" but basically yes.

Hi guys. It seems we will be going for two five bedroom places at Loggers Run. Still maybe a room or two free if anyone is interested and some couch space if youre less picky.

The places are roughly $850 for the four days/three nights, divided by five rooms is also roughly $60 a night.

Just an option, if you havent dealt with accommodations, yet!

Looks like also I'm going to try and leave early Thursday AM and bonzai to get there before tech and reg end. Google has it at 500 miles exactly, from my house.

safety triangle

Where are you guys mounting your triangle on your bike? Backpack? If wearing a backpack does it not get in the way of a camelback (or are the stages so short there is no need for a camelbak)?

Thanks!

I use a bungie cord to tie it to the rear fender.

While the stages are short the rally is actually pretty long with all the transits, I believe we cover 400 miles over the 2 days. A camelbak is highly recommended.
