You don't have to remove the O2 sensor from the exhaust, you can just unplug the lead. It's not too bad to get to.

have her try leaning just before she stops completely so she can get 1 foot down or as much of a toe and rest of the foot as possible. shifting the butt so you can get a full foot on the ground is also worth practicing. I rarely even need to have both feet on the ground.

When she's coming to a stop she can stand on the floor board forward of the seat with her dominant foot hanging and plant it when she's stopped. Then when she takes off, stand up again on the floorboard and let the forward movement of the scoot move the seat back under her.

Keeping your head and eyes up helps. The horizon gives us some visual clues that help us keep things upright. Another thing to tell a n00b is to keep the handlebars squared when stopping and starting...particularly when dropping the feet down. Dropping one down first (as is taught on motorcycles when the right foot is still occupied by braking duties) often tends to bring the bike over to down-foot side slightly at a stop and that can be disconcerting for new riders.

Do not buy Boppers!
They are evil! They do this weird thing, they stick in the corners they even allow you to go 3-5 mph faster than with the stock rubber. They corner they give confidence in turns, serious biz!
Dont do it, they even allow a tad faster acceleration. This whole contact area and sticky rubber thing is crazy.

So save yourselves, gosh knows what should happen if I got the next level up!

I love the idea of the boopers on road supremacy but I'm not sure I wanna give up the dirt/gravel backroads I explore from time to time.

I didn't real need them ritet but I am sure glad I swapped. Would have done it earlier if I had known

yup a trade off, but not many of those on my commute

sorry it has been a week and no riding! Damn tattoo healing and that back trouble from the weekend at the trampoline park have me a bit scared of your spine splitting suspension.
But I am saving my pennies and looking for a suitable replacement to those rock hard shocks. They have some air shocks at the local place but I am not sure they are worth it?
