You may have read about the internet safety net maintained by the FBI and a private vendor which allows those computers infected with the DNS Changer malware to continue accessing the net. This safety net will be taken down next Monday and if your computer is infected with the malware you will be directed to nowhere when you try to access the web.
Apparently, the malware was hidden in video codes for a number of pornographic sites, which means there's no chance anyone around here could be infected but just in case your little brother snuck onto your computer...
There are a number of sites offering free scanning and removal of this malware. Google DNS Changer and just make certain your scanning software is from a legitimate site.
I scanned my Mac and it came up clean, though I was a little worried.

I found this: www.dns-ok.us on another site. Did a little research and it seemed legit so I ran it on all my machines, all came up green.
