I was dubious until I got to the Yakkety Sax part. Perfect!

Two part expanding polyurethane foam carved to shape and then sealed with some sort of stuff.

Yikes, seems like a lot of foam.

We were pricing that out at work since we use a CNC carver to shape foam blocks, and shipping the blocks is $$$. But ultimately it didn't price out that much better to make your own, and it wouldn't get as reliable of a product.

First you need to build a steel armature in the general shape, then cover the armature with chicken wire {poultry netting} . Then add expanding foam and carve it to shape.Latex paint over that to seal the open cells of the foam . Then continue with the latex paint to the final glory.

Yeah, this would not be a project approached with any sort of seriousness at all.
