Stone guard is from Newbonneville. The Zard pipe just rocks! Once you've removed the 'whistle pin' and managed to justify the price. Thanks for the comments :) Cheers, Steve |

seat and pipes

In the picture you saw, I had just removed the silencers and mounted the stock headers. I thought it looked pretty good, but I ended up mounting a Zard cross system. If I had decided to to keep the stock headers, I would have found some generic baffles and mounted them in the pipe because it was extremely loud with just the headers. Baffles are pretty inexpensive and wouldn't be hard to mount and removing the stock silencers drops a ton of weight. I hope this helps, good luck! |

Jullie-Ann.
Thought I'd share a few more pics of Jullie-Ann enjoying a Scrambled Triumph. I met her 5 minutes earlier and she was dead keen for an 'I-Phone' shoot (ha ha) on my bonnie. What a FOX and she smelled so good...

I wanted to swap out the Deathwings anyway. When I grasp the headlight while the bike is vibrating it stops. I do have the headlight grill on it, so that could possibly make a difference. It may the source of the noise, but I guess not the cause of the vibes. That may also explain why only certain bikes seem to have the vibs? Al

As far as the set screw is concerned, I drilled and tapped for a M4 button head screw. Because that's what I had one hand... and the bolt head turned out to be the correct height I needed to have the peg level. ![]() But you could drill a normal hole (not all the way through) and insert a piece of steel rod... then file it down slowly until you get the desired height. *-*-*- Steve SA, What can I say... but... wow nice pictures!

Arrow 2-1 question
I just picked up my new scrambler last week and will be installing the arrow exhaust myself (in california now the dealers can't do it because of CARB). My question is I realize that the ECU needs a remap but would it be OK to install it and then ride about 40 miles to the dealer for the remap or should I just trailer it down?
Thanks (from a new member) |

Cracked bracket fix?
I seem to remember seeing someone else with this problem, but don't remember the fix. The bracket, that's welded to the Scrambler's frame, that holds the pipes is cracked on my bike. Anyone have suggestions on the best way to repair it?
Is brazing enough or do I need to create something more durable? |
