Holy sh*t, when they pulled out those 26 metal stitches, that hurts .The metal pin :![]() They took some X-rays and removed my plaster cast and I don't need a new one, woohoooo . My foot still looks swollen:![]() Now I need to go to a physiotherapist, I got 30 sessions to start with. My foot is very stiff at the moment and I have to learn to walk again. These are all my injections from the past 6 weeks, it's for preventing blood clots:

Hi, I'm searching for boots - specifically for commuting. Came across your thread. Moto "shoes" are now out.
Ouch. Good luck with the recovery, but don't rush it, you don''t want to set yourself back... Wow, that's one hell of a nail! |

Hi Lucifer666,
Ouch, though that pin didn't hurt on the way out, it hurts just looking at it! I feel your pain on the physical therapy front, I've been through two knee surgeries and one shoulder surgery. If you have never done that type of therapy before though, follow your therapist's guidelines to the tee and do everything they tell you to, exactly how they tell you, for as long as they tell you. You will hate them initially for the pain they cause, then buy them X-mas gifts for the rest of their lives for the mobility they return to you. ![]() Take care,

Your bike crashes a lot better than you
Kidding aside, hope you are doing well.
I took my first ride today after having a plate similar to yours implanted on my left arm. Also: my bike crashes better than me too ![]() Chapin

I really wonder how much MX boots can help, especially with ankle fractures and such. As the OP said, when youve got all that weight coming down on a very small area, I dont even think Crossfires or SG10s are going to help. Certainly might help in lesser situations though..
Sucks OP- I seriously pull over if I have to cross tracks like that and someone is behind me. Sit there, wait for everyone to pass, and then literally crawl over the tracks.. Another thing I hate is coming up to a stop after its just sprinkled- oil makes the road slick and the lines are like ice! Heal fast! |

Wow impressive!
thank god you (and the bike) are "fine". These crashbars sure are tough. How do they extract the "zipper"? still under local narcose?
