For sale templates?

I did a search but didn't see anything about it...sorry if it's been discussed and I missed it

Any thoughts about adding a sale template for the flea market section? Been browsing the ad lately and it seems like a large percentage of the people fail to list the simple but important things like price, location, mileage, etc.

Maybe put a sticky giving the following template (off the top of my head, feel free to mod). Not everyone will use it but many will and those that don't can see the examples set by others which will hopefully provide that ah-ha moment about listing a particular detail.

This comes up from tmie to time. The last time the verdict was that s template would be more trouble than it's worth. Also, it would still be up to the member to recreate the template properly, as there wouldn't be a form available that would force them to comply with the format.

We like to give members the freedom to do their own ad as long as they follow the basics.

I don't want you to think your idea is being dismissed, though. I think a standard is a good idea. It would certainly make it easier to read the ads. Perhaps it will happen one day. Be assured that it will be discussed again in the future.

No template. The sellers ad style usually gives you some insight into their personality, etc

I agree with the personality comment. Maybe just a sticky with a list of facts that a good ad should contain?
