Since I couldn't ever find any simple and clean airhead inspired shirts I liked, I decided to make my own. And thought I might make a small run for anyone else who might like them.

The shirts are printed on a super soft 100% cotton tee. They are slightly "fitted" but not quite as tight as an American Apparel shirt. They are printed using the water-based discharge method so the print is also super soft and breathable so it's not a thick gob of ink on your chest. It's also more "eco-friendly" if you are into that sorta thing.

**(the print will feel "chalky" when you get the shirt. WASH BEFORE WEARING. that chalkiness is part of the discharge and it all washes out)**

I'm hoping that if these go over well I can do more brands of bikes and iconic tank stripe styles. So consider this a "limited edition test run." haha.

$18 each. You can order the shirts at my bigcartel site:

http://apt13.bigcartel.com/

Just ordered both. Dig the designs. I'll buy pretty much anything with a motorcycle on it.

That said, you might want to revise your shipping prices. They're not totally outrageous, but I have a small business selling BMW parts over the internet (http://www.ihkabuttons.com) and I've spent a lot of time working out pricing for online shipping. $14 to ship two t-shirts is an awful lot. A box from U-Line is less than a buck (You can usually buy 7"x7"x7" cubes for 35 cents) and shipping that with two t-shirts weight in it, even across country, should be less than $4.50.

I'm all for profit, but gouging on shipping has always rubbed me the wrong way.

Just throwing that out there! Can't wait to get the shirts.

yikes! you are right, that was my mistake on entering in the shipping costs for multiple items in bigcartel. I've just revised it. Thanks for pointing that out!
obviously i'll be refunding you some shipping cash.

JustineP,

BMWEURO sells the block off plate that replaces the OEM filter box. The filters you see are also needed for the Look but they are another item from another source. Sorry I don't know where to get those but they are not hard to find. They are pretty common. What bmweuro has done for you is the part you see bolted to the top of the trans. I think he makes a couple other things too.

Chad- I think you can use any 74-84 /6-/7 triple clamp. I am pretty sure the only difference is a lack of a 6mm hole on the front that is there is a place for.

WTB R100GS Rear Wheel

I'm looking for a good R100GS rear wheel for a HPN replica project. Would also consider just the hub for that wheel if you have one laying around.

WTB: saddlebags for '84 R80RT

Hi,

Looking for saddle bags for my '84 R80RT. Hard to find! Especially with these guys on Ebay selling them at $300 for one side only.

BTW does anyone know the best way to verify if certain mounts fit your bike? There are so many variations of them throughout the years and it seems that a lot of them fit a bunch of bikes but it's hard to know unless you have it in hand.

If you have any or know of anyone trying to get rid of some people let me know.

Thanks,

Kai

77 r100s five speed trans for sale

I just took out a perfectly good 5 speed from my franken/5 and replaced it with a four speed, in a display of my own peculiarity. I want to sell the five speed to fund some other moto needs. It shifts fine, doesn't leak, and does everything it is supposed to do. I got it about ten years ago from an acquaintance who had had it rebuilt about 5K before I bought it from him. I put about 20K on it in that time. It isn't dead quiet, nor was it ever in the time I had it, but it's pretty good. When I change out the gear oil in it, there has never been any chunks or metallic glitter in the oil. I would take $300 plus shipping which would be in the neighborhood of $35.

I also have a /5 front end, and some/5 engine electrics I'd like to get rid of.

Hope to hear from you.
