Rights are nearly impossible to find as it is the one side that always falls off. A new one from BMW is $115.00.

I'm pretty sure side covers didn't show up until '72. So in your case you're not missing a right side, you have a spare left side.

interchangeability
Friends, I have an 81' R100 with a 99k+ miles on the OE Drum brake 37/11 final drive. It has alot of drive lash and the diff is shot. Will a 32/11 from a 74 R90/6 bolt on without drama?
let me know asap as it's on ebay and I don't want to lose it.

37/11? I thought that was specific to R80 STs and G/Ss. Both of these had 3 lug hubs. As far as I know the R100s had 4 lug hubs. Double check which you have and don't buy the other one.

my bad
I was mistaken, in low light, a german 2 looks like a 7, so...
I actually have a 32/11 and the housing is ribbed, not a smooth casting like I've seen. I think the diffs might be OK what do you lot think?

They'll interchange. I might be interested in getting your old one from you - send me a PM if interested.
Mark, there were 37/11 twin shock final drives as well.
