Got my remote working yesterday so it triggers two cameras. Bit of a pain to do the upgrades but it is working! Your Hero2 picture looks very sharp.

Cheers

Cabin Fever

A vid from a section of our 'fun day' ride from our trip. Over 3 days of riding we covered 1,300 km with about 800 of that being dirt, gravel and shitloads of dust. On this day 2 non travel day we hit a sand/gravel pit and after we lost a couple of riders to mechanicals the remaining 4 of us rode for another few hours which included this mud/water bog section. Deep runs of water with super super slick mud and obstacles under the surface. Tons of fun and tons of work. Riders are me (Mark) on the modified silver 650 twin, Dave on the orange 800, John on the KLR and the craziest of all Sean who's working the camera so no footage of him here. You'll see him soon in footage from the sand/gravel pit.

cheers,
Mark

Haha nice!
I looked a little sketch on that second one!

Once the sand one is up it'll be like an Awesome Players vid minus the commentary and clear pic

Dave

Some boring 2-up riding through Alpine National Park. Stopping to look at the odd Brumby (wild horses that formed the basis of the "Light Horse" mounted Infantry).

Around these parts you can spend most of the day riding tracks like these and not see other people, or tar roads in the right places. When you do comes across other people, they'll be in a 4x4 coming sideways around a corner at you. So pay attention.

I was coming home from a tar road trip around the Snowy Mountains Hwy, and the back way from Tumbarumba up Elliots Way, past Cabramurra, back along the Snowy Mountains Hwy and off onto Long Plain Rd, which I'm towards the end of at the start of this video. Wife and all the camping gear on the BumW.

you sure picked a weird place to make that comment - "not the best riders..." - associating it w/ the clip from The Dark Knight. i'm pretty sure those hollywood stunt riders are some of the best riders you'll find.

i'm guessing we should assume that your comment was meant towards all of the videos posted in this thread on a whole? in which case it's still a strange comment that might offend other inmates.

just sayin'...

no man dont take it the wrong way, I am one of "not the best riders" like some of the others who still have got a lot to learn. There are plenty of riders here, where I hope that some day I will ride like them

Nice clip. It has been dry here so not as much water as usual..plus I just changed all my wheel bearings again...nice to see someone splashing around.

Gelände Straße

I did a little GS (Gelände Straße) ride this weekend, heading east on the old stage coach road between Yreka and Klamath Falls, which follows the Klamath River along the CA/OR border, and probably hasn't been maintained since the 19th century.

Then I rode back home on twisty mountain pavement along Highway 66. There are plenty of motorcycles that could ride both of those routes. But very few that could do both as well as an F800GS can.
