I would also be interested in the training day. I will need to reorganize my schedule before I can commit, but will try my best to do so.

I would favour camping.

Cheers,

I think a flat rate per piece, say $5 ~10 would be acceptable, at least to me. Name tags required, or a "hat check ticket" system would be easy to set up.

I am actually in the Kelowna area now and have been riding here in the hot weather too - in the high 30's. Mostly on pavement as I am on the DUC. I have been doing east and west loops out of Kelowna and only made it as far west as Merritt this time, so I am looking forward to getting over to the Lillooet area in September.

Cheers and thanks for all the work & time organizing, scouting and posting.

Nice pic and it looks like you have 2 jet engines sticking out the back of your motorcycle .

Update............The third days ride will be Lillooet to Harrison Hot Springs via the Duffy Lake Road then West Harrison FSR. I had to change the second days ride because of location change so I need to ride a few sections still before I can post the route.

Thanks all.

I'm too old for rocket packs, and yes you can get into serious throttle trouble with this bike ....

Sorry for not having the whole route posted but I had to change the second days ride and need to ride a few sections first before posting it. The third days ride is Lillooet back to Harrison Hot Spring via the Duffy lake road and the West Harrison FSR that section is 250 km of dirt road and about 100 km riding the Duffy lake road and that's paved.

Kookipi Creek

I thought you might want to know that the Kookipi Creek Road has been washed out by a creek with heavy snowmelt. We tried riding from Harrison Hot Springs to Boston Bar on 7/11/12. We had to turn around at about 65 K, not far after the new bridge. My friends and I were able to go over an easy wash out but a few kilometers later were forced to turn around. The extreme water flow carved a five foot deep trench thru the road. When the summer run off slows it maybe possible to construct a passage for motorcycles. But for now the creek was so strong there is no way to pass.

We had a great ride and hope try again in the Fall.
