Hope the OP doesn't mind, but here's one of the fifteen or so pics he uploaded:

While the bike certainly has its rough spots, I'd grab it. The other photos highlight some "less than ideal" storage conditions, but I see nothing there that would make me walk away from a reasonable price.

I, too, would rather read prose than see purty pictures. Hell, when it's just picture after picture, it's like, well, TV.

No thanks.

That's right, no colloquialism in photos, only in text or speech. Ya'll.

an original 3,500 miles R80G/S should sell for much higher than estimates given.

You haven't seen the condition then ..... and that is pounds sterling. FWIW, I picked up a minter, with 30000 miles for less... that had new pistons, valves, guides, tubes, gearbox rebuilt, new loom, new rims...

With that said it may have had a lot of work done since he was brought out of the garage... if it did then he may get the reserve on it.

It isn't worth the estimates but I think the owner is digging for gold... When things go to bid crazy things can happen... in both directions.

Ah, that changes things. I thought it was still in as-found condition. Still high, but not completely unrealistic, then again, from what I hear, prices for airhead GSs tend to be even higher in the UK than in the US.
