Hi Phreaky

I asked Motobins about that stand a while back, it doesn't fit the G/S frame and it would be too short. By the time you buy and mod it, presuming you get it right, I think I would rather buy one that I know would work.

The one I had made up works but it is not easy to get the bike on and off the stand. In hindsight I should have stumped up and bought the right stand.

The rear tank on your friends bike look neat but is probably very expensive, I run a Nomad tank on the rear of my 1100GS which holds 8.3 litres to the brim, but is sold as 7.5 litres; will most likely fit it to my (R100GS) build giving me 40 litres in total.

I`ve seen one, and could have bought it if I wanted to pay around Oz$ 24,000. It had an USD KTM front end, plus an extra stainless steel tank under the seat, and the thing was so tall.........

I agree that unit garage R120G/S kits looks great, though I don't see it doing anything to shed more than a few kilo's
Still would love to see one in the flesh.

No not me. But then the Perth Dakar HPN is not mine, it looks similar but there are a few differences. Ie Perth Dakar decal, black seat cover and different dash/headlight on the PD version.

Mines the one second from the left in this image, the Perth Dakar is third from the left.
