Handlebar for /5 and earlier, it seems
Fehling 'Euro' bar. Fits the rider like so:
![]() But does not work with '75 and later controls and bar end mirrors due to insufficient grip length: ![]() ![]() In this condition, after use for mock-up and 150 break-in miles: ![]() ![]() Ends lightly dressed to remove bulge that prevented the perches from sliding on. $50US + shipping. PM to claim.

Wanted: /7 Seat
**UPDATE** Got a seat now, now looking for the grabrail. See new fleamarket posting.
Looking for a rust-free seat pan or whole seat with the little turtleback for a 1978 R100/7. Ideally just a pan, but I'll think about a whole seat, just might have to count my pennies first. My seat pan has rusted out by the hinge mountings.

hope you can keep paint on it...I never could, even had it ceramic coated still surface rust. They do sound pretty good though. You'll need to double check welds on the foot peg mount.

looking for low, S, or 'euro' bars...
im putting together an S. I want the lower bars that i guess are the "euro bend".
Im open to buying BUT.... Ive got an RT(i think) bar... 4 1/2 inches of rise. I've got these: ![]() which i paid pretty good money for. they are 22mm, i cant read the manufacturers mark on them, Fueller, or something? I beieve they were made back in the day. They are straight, shiny, have some nicks and clamp scratches, and worked "real well" for what they are. Which turns out to be "not what I should have bought". I've never ridden anything with that sort of ride position(tucked), and it isn't my bag i guess. First hope would be to trade the RT bars, and hold onto the drops just in case i change my mind and try again, but then again, I am pretty broke and would like to get this bike "done" (yes I am aware that "done" is a joke) as cheap as I can. |
