new battery

While at the big Sedalia Rally I left my running lights on and killed my 2 year 4 month old battery dead. It would not revive. I put a new AGM from Walmart in it and it fired right up and all worked. Seems like I remember seeing something in the owners manual about if it was dead a long time you had to reset your dash. Can't find my manual right now but you might check in that area for an answer.
