Talking USA Ride

At last my long planned trip to US has arrived . With help of local inmate have secured a bike GS 1100 for some big miles and trip to GP in INDY.via most of the rest of country or there abouts.
Sooo the basic plan arrive LA got car to SF is there a nice road from Six Flags(got to do the roller coasters) to SF?
Then off to Montana down to Yellowstone out to Bonneville down to Vagas via Death Valley the bits of R66 Oatman to Selagman, off to Grand Canyon... from here gets abit iffy and reason or part of that i posted this.
some nice roads up through maybe ST Louis Sringfield then out to Indy. will be using some tent space i hope
After Indy down to the Dragon Blue Ridge Mountain over to DC .
Back to Missoula
Arrive 1st leave SF 5 Missoula 6 Indy Arrive maybe 16-17 leave 20 to be back 30 in Missoula
Yes will be warm and yes lots of miles but hey all part of the trip. And will have to spend the late part on the Interstate but all inclusive with the experience.
have read many posts from fellow riders on this site and each sounds good, so i suppose my trip may go past or follow somebodys recent trip hints most welcome.
thanks Geoff

Either part of your trip, swing just a little south of old 66 in OK and enter Arkansas at Ft. Smith and spend at least one day in the Ozark Mtns as a break from flat and boring on your way up to St. Louis.

I assume you are talking about Six Flags Magic Mountain; my favorite amusement park. They have a roller coaster that allows you to sit with your feet dangling, and the track above your head. If you sit in the front car, you cannot see the track while going through upside down loops, which gives you a really cool feeling of flying. They also have a water slide park right next door, should you find yourself over-heated.

From there, you can head over to the coast, and take highway 1 most of the way up the coast to SF. There are some incredible views along the Big Sur section just south of Monterey. To get there from Six Flags, you can take highway 118/101 through Simi Valley, or take highway 126 through Santa Paula. Both lead to Ventura on the coast.

Well here you are! How long until you get the bike? I'm at work until next Wed. Drop a line in here from time to time!
