All it needed was refresh, if you are really going to ride it hard suspension upgrades are rider specific so no need to change, let me do it, as for reliability, 2 bikes of my own and ZERO problems

This is just hot!

I know it's mostly just a paint job but you are correct....

That is one hot looking bike!

Gotta admit I like the looks of the new 700 better than the new 800. If I were buying a new bike, I might spring for the 700 instead.

If it weren't a woman's bike.

I agree. With all the good & bad of bmw and the griping I/we do about this & that the 700 is a good looking classy bike.
I would tour on it.
(Just make a long travel version)

Buy the cheaper new 700, swap the now properly set up suspension from your old one on to the new one, put the new stuff on the old one. Sell it for a fortune.

Buy beer and celebrate.

Sorted.

Tomorrow I'll tackle global obesity.

god damn it why did they mess up the turn switchs? I don't want the "left-right-click" switch, I want good old BMW style 3 switches for 4 functions!
So they'll mess up the whole next generation of boxer too hmm? thought the GS-series would get away with it and keep the old two-button combo... RIP

Glad I got a 2010 model...

Anyone notice the reg/rec had been changed and the rear brake reservoir has been relocated on the 800?

Sorry to hear about your 650, Dan. Here's hoping you walked away unscathed.

As for the 700, there's no doubt but that in your hands it will look muy macho.

David, I can't stop laughing!!! Yeah, Muy Macho!! I did get a broken bone in my left hand and some bruises, so won't be riding for a few months. Talked to Craig today about the new F700, looks like its a few months away anyway. Take care!

Just got home from my summer tour so have not read it yet, but the

I agree. No pricing info but my dealer said the comfort seat is not something you can specify in the build....you have to add it on after delivery.

Lame, but that's all I got.
