You could try putting a small stick-on rubber bumper over each button to make them each raised for tactile feedback through your gloves...

As far as longevity/reliability of these lights...

I just got back from a 6,500 mile loop with my sidecar rig (with model-30 mounted in nose of sidecar).
My route took me across the Trans-Labrador Highway with LOTS of rough miles from start to finish.
And dust,
And rain,
And scorching heat on the return leg...

I have also used this light in the sidecar throughout the winter months here in Wisconsin (I ride my rig year-round), and the light has held up to some pretty severe thermal cycling.
That includes being fully hot and riding into heavy snow banks (getting the lens suddenly covered with snow while hot.)

All told, I have close to 20,000 miles of riding since installing the Model-30 light. Thousands of miles of roads, at least 1,000 of miles of gravel, heat, cold, rain, snow...
So far, so good...

We have our M1 on sale for $90 including battery, light, mount and charger. This light is waterproof, most other bike lights are water resistant. Light weight, just 388 grams system weight, Light Head is 133g /4.5oz.

The light pattern is more of a spot, however the light spill is more than adequate for night riding.

Hey Sanjoh,

Sent you an email with a couple of questions about a week ago. Thinking of pulling the trigger on some of these lights, controls and HD mounts etc. Couldn't find any information on your website about product warranties. I know that there are plenty of endorsements in this thread on your excellent customer service but do the lights/controls have any actual warranty?

I've always had bad timing

Just resent you the email with a little preamble which is now a mute point because immediately after sending it saw that you sent me an email notification that my order was shipped. Aw well, check it out anyway, maybe i'll get lucky.
