You have an issue, my K7 has been bullet proof. Figure our your issue and yours will be bullet proof as well

Taking on Old Fall River Road in Rocky Mountain National Park during my 2,500 mile trip this year. The rangers were very concerned about motorcycles on the road for some reason, but it was a nice easy maintained road (minus the giant moose I almost ran into, and the Marmot that bounced off my skid plate and kept running

A friend at work commutes on his V-Strom 1000 every day and racks up the miles. He doesn't do internet, so I wanted to post this for him.

It's been a while since I posted here, like others, I went north in June only to have my bike stranded in Whitehorse on the 8th when the roads heading south and home closed... flew home and shipped the bike... bike arrived home 4 weeks later!
Here we are crossing the border June 6:
