I would recommend the versys 1000, or the new big tiger. I'm partial to kawasakis as I owned a bunch now with great performance and no issues what soever. The versys 1000 kitted up is a great do all bike with an amazing motor. You will give up a bit of off road ness but will still handle dirt roads no problem.

I think it looks great, and I bet it would give you fits in the twisties...every report I have seen said its a fast bike, that handles great. the motor is worth the price of admission itself.

I suppose compared to the MotoGP bike you ride every day but mere mortals shouldn't find it that boring. It would be even better if it came with better music.

Yeah, I didn't consider either the Versys or the Stelvio for very long...Stelvio is ugly to me and the Versys does not have the level of performance I'm looking for.
As for servicing my Multistrada....I priced it out with my dealer for normal warranty stuff, and its not much different (even a little less) than my BMW given they are 7.5K vs 6K (15K for major) intervals. Now if starts breaking down a bunch out of warranty, well....you can then "help this disillusioned Ducati rider...." I may buy an extended warranty. I love this bike so far.

Enjoy it while it lasts. I think they do alright these days. ![]() At least you got a Ducati not a Ducwagon. They'll all be 8 speed flappy paddle turbo diesels in a few years. ![]() Only kidding.

Now THAT would be worth looking into. If it had comparable performance and weight to the current Multi it would be very hard to resist! Well......... Except for the flappy paddle thing......
