Forest Road 368 out of Colorado Springs also called Old Stage Road, turns into Gold Camp Road.

Headed to Salida via Pitkin and Monarch Pass. Stayed at a youth hostel. I was able to repair my shaky skid plate with a great deal of assistance from Todd and the Hostel owners vice.

Funny thing was a lot of people left the hostel very early in the morning like 4a. We may have been snoring in 3 part harmony all night and could have been the only ones who slept.

Ahhhh! I forgot, It was an ATV log jam at the at the top near the tunnel.
The tunnel did not go through but was well worth the ride up.
Hey Rob...I remember you taking some video while we were waiting for Rueben at the bottom.



After he hit the flat land again ....I since I ten to ride slow.. I saw a sign that said Indian Head Rock...and it pointed to this.. Rob was riding waaaaaaay to fast to smell the roses.




Then we were off to Salida Co, looking for an empty bunk at the Hostel (I learned of this place last year when I hooked up with bigdadddy for a Colorado ride)



This is where we straighten and refit Robs splash plate..
