A New GS Delivery -From the Box to You

Ever wonder how your beloved GS got to the showroom floor from Germany? What’s this PDI thingy I have to pay for? If it’s new then how come it shows 15 kms on it? Well I’ll tell you what I know. Maybe you care about this kinda thing, maybe you don’t. Just some useless trivia about your new immigrant’s arrival process. I’ll post it in segments as it seems my “Submit” button and “Nuke” button have been mislabelled. That’s an hour I’ll never get back. I’ve been a lurker for years, gleaning valuable information without having much to contribute other than my opposing “opinion” or maybe a “+1” here and there so maybe I can finally contribute something of value. Maybe.



The bikes are packed in boxes and arrive at the Dealer by truck, then carefully man-handled down to ground level so as not to startle the sleeping beast inside. If the driver’s in a hurry tho, all bets are off.
