Craig, my first one has now done the equivalent of 2 APC rallys and it has stood up fine to everything thrown at it.

I have 2 previous version mounts available.
They are functionally just fine. The clearance around the slide is tighter. So they slide in and out ok but close completely on their own once the radio is in. The slide just takes a light push to get it to go all the way in. Once in it is perfect.

I am willing to pass them on for less $20.

$78 + $12(shipping) = $90

I'm looking at gearing up for radio comms after seeing riding friends operating them on a recent ride to Cape York and Back.
My research is suggesting the 78 will transmitt with (12v) charger connected but the 76 will not.

Not sure this is the place to post this but want to take this to the next (communication) level. Have Craigs mount (legendary bit of kit

) and the Uniden UHO78SX but want to be able to use it on the move. Need the cable to connect my Sena SR10 Blue tooth adaptor.

Has anyone found a supplier for the cable. Tried a major Sydney dealer who supplies both and won't respond to emails or PM's. Any suggestions?

Are you guys only using this when you stop? Help!!!!

pm Mike.C - I know he uses his radio on the fly. Not sure on what kit he has though.

Try the phone... if they cannot pick it up then it is a sure sign that you should be shopping elsewhere.

Not sure if you've found an answer yet but this is the guy you need to speak too.
Got a full kit from him, except the radio which he has a supplier for and the cable is excellent.
