The next morning we took off for Sevastopol & the bike party. The riding is not fast, its either twisty mountain roads, or wading thru traffic at the resort towns on the beach
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() There were 2 guys stopped along the road, so we stopped. Sergey from Sochi had broken the clutch cable on his transalp. ![]() No biggie tho, I took a pair of vice grips off my bike, clamped on to the release lever, & showed him how to pull the clutch in with the back of his ankle. Worked perfect, & he got to a town fine, & was able to buy a new inner cable at a car parts store & repair it. ![]() He even did good in traffic, didn’t stall it at all! ![]() ![]() We stopped for gas, & my bike wouldn’t start. My key switch had been acting up now & then, but now it was just fubar. So I hotwired it. Later in the day I bought a switch from a Russian Zaz car for $3.00. its still working just fine
