I also don't think that that question is out of line or stupid. It's a legitimate question. People see American as easy pay days. But I see that I have hit a nerve with a few people, for whatever reason that may be. I am also not saying that only American get robbed or harassed in different countries. America is as bad as anywhere when it comes to foreigners being robbed or harassed for being from the "Wrong Part Of The World" If someone was to ask me, "Hey, Do (insert your nationality here) get picked on in (insert city name here) for being who they are?" If the answer was "Yes" I knew it, I would try to pull the wool over their eyes!! Tell them how it is!
I never met an American that I did not like. (Just sayin')

Number Plates

Maybe I haven`t noticed this before that you have Russian number plates for your bike. Are there some advantages of local plates if traveling through Russia?

Ha haha.... Golden Child! I love movie quotes. Funny stuff. Did you get the knife and save the child? Or was your heart not pure enough?

Bit of trivia... that movie came out in 1986. That would make Eddie Murphy 51 years old now. Now I feel old.

as a former truck driver i've traveled to 46 states and a few Canadian provinces. i was never a fan of California and the political environment and all the other stuff i've heard in the news from out there. but when i got the chance to drive out there i found that the peeps in Socal were some of the nicest people i've met in the country. i expected them to be as hostile as most of the eastern states and other areas that are predominantly liberal.

You have been drawn into the force of ADVrider, you will be back more often reading more ride reports and other stuff. It is too late to leave. Happened to me a few years ago with just 1 thread about a unigo trailer build, and now I am here more often... good luck with resistance

But that Doug, he sure knows how to travel.
