Wish I saw this earlier I used to commute from SoMD to OIL CITY every weekend, discovered some really nice backroads up through Altoona to Dubois.
Surprised you missed the space capsule at the DQ just South of Franklin.

A little history: that area used to have the most percapita millionaires in the world. The theater you captured in your pictures hosted world premiers for movies and new talent that are almost all done in Hollywood now.
There used to be street cars, and upon investigation you can find evidence of them, the cobblestones, and in Titusville(home of the Heisman) the yellow brick roads. They used to transport pull from places like pothole in huge wooden vats on writhe railcar poor barge, and in the past there was a huge oil spill up river of Oil City, when the spill reached town it caught fire and burnt down the majority of the lower city. They is also an underground"mall" under downtown, where people could go from business to business and not have to cross the dirt streets or deal with the mud or horse traffic. It's pRetty much a craphole now as both Quaker State and PennZoil abandoned them.

![]() Love it !I missed Franklin altogether, last time I rode west on 322 to 257 north through Seneca. It's that time of the year, I'm going back. This will be the WPBMA's fifth annual competition and I don't want to miss it. Been working on a ride plan since this years event has been moved (again) into September, last year was in mid December. Not sure if I should do a all new RR or just keep tacking on things here.

Like the last time I made this motorcycle trip the MD ToR tag was out west. I can't resist. Once again the best route is neither straight or the swiftest
.Small break at Sideling Hill Just a quick leg stretch, then forward.

Hello Bumble Bee, the week-end before was their last open week for the season. The keepers took pity on me, mostly because they hadn't taken the "Come in We're Open" sign down, I was alone and the sun was going down . Glad I didn't call ahead Mood lighting ![]() Beverage, appetizers and soup's on .Then it rained, really really rained.

Good Day Sunshine!
I need to laugh, and when the sun is out
I've got something I can laugh about, Coffee is on ![]() The rain was gone, the air crisp and all was quiet and the sunlight was threading it's rays through the trees. All was beautiful and eerie at the same time. She feels good, she knows she's looking fine. I'm so proud to know that she is mine. Good day sunshine, Good day sunshine, Good day sunshine. Italics, not my words. Thank you Lennon/McCartney

So I get myself moving. For me that can be difficult because on beautiful mornings nothing is the thing to do.
Then I quickly stop. I don't fish. Places called Hookers are endlessly funny to me .Time for breakfast. This place has been the MD ToR once before and we do allow repeats but not this time. What you're looking at here is a Cheese Steak Omelet That's right! Say it out loud, Cheese Steak Omelet .Time for Tag. The clue. ![]() The drop. ![]() And then on to OC.

Thank you for taking a peek. Hoping to finish putting the pictures of this week-end up today.
Now that you are cleared for take off... Go ![]() Quote:
When hot liquids are in it the TARDIS fades from the street scene side and appears in the space scene on the other side. When it was new and shiny ![]() Baltimore has one of these, ![]() outside of the Pennsylvania Train Station, on the corner of N. Charles St. and E. Lanvale St.
