Beta Rev 4T
I've been lusting over a Monty 4RT for a while but also came across a very clean looking 2009 Beta Rev 4T not too far away from me. Anyone know much about these? Anything to watch for? It's the 250 version, although my preference would be for the 300 if given the choice. Beggars can't be chosers though!
The bike looks to be in great shape but I don't know a lot about late model trials bikes. Been hoping to try some modern-type events (while I still can!) after years of riding old lumps in twinshock competition! |

I ride a 4RT. I would say a Beta 250 is a better bike for a beginner, the power is much softer (unless it's been hopped up).

If you think you need the 300 you might hold off for an example of the factory original version rather then get into the risk, cost and hassle of upgrading a 250...particularly if it is already a fresh, good running example. Otherwise get the 250 and leave it alone if you can!
