Shaft Drive Vibes
I feel sort of a rubbing (hesitate to call it grinding), when I'm not straight upright on the GS. It seems especially noticeable when I turn left, and lean hard. Feels kind of like a transition from smooth tires to knobbies, or a very fine rumblestrip.
The bike has lots of miles (130k), and I was told the shaft was replaced, not sure. Runs and drives great though... |

Check the FD for excessive play. Change your FD oil. Examine old oil for debris. Report back.

The oil was clear when I checked a few months ago - I'll check again. |

Could be the tires. Metzeler Tourances do that at certain speeds--usually lower speeds--when they are a bit worn.

Tourance, flat from straight roads, lil bit low psi and had exact symptoms.
