Anyone got any pics of an 1150 GSA with GS shocks?
Looking for photos of a 1150GSA with GS shocks on it. Just wondering about lowering and if the enormous tank on the GSA will make it look odd. Before/After shots would be awesome, but any shots someone has of a GSA running the shorter GS shocks would be helpful. Thanks!

I don't have any pictures, but one of my riding buddies has GS shocks on his GSA. It doesn't look weird, but at full compression the front "swing arm" hits the bottom of the tank.

![]() I'm in the porcess of hacking a R1150GSA, picture of the front end (Leading Link) where you can see the weird angle of the telelever, and no problem of clearance here with the GSA tank.

Wow, these look great!
These bikes all look awesome. I was afraid the large tank would make it look strange 2" shorter, but not at all! Going to see if I can find someone who might want to trade my ADV Ohlins for some regular GS Ohlins or similarly adjustable/rebuildable shocks. Maybe I'll grab someone's old GS shocks for a 'test sizing' first... I really just want to be able to have a bit better footing, without having to change the distance between the pegs and seat; when I put on a BMW "low" seat, it's really uncomfortable on my knees (and the rear of course, but that's just because I'm pretty sure it's a couple of 2x4s covered in grip material).
Thanks all! |

My other GS rig (R1100GS with also regular shock height, and ADV tank), and not side or central stand needed
