Looking for a waterproof one piece riding suit

I just got back from a 3 day trip picking up a new bike. The last day I spent about 5 hours in the rain at 45-50 degrees. My waterproof jacket leaked. my waterproof pants leaked. some water came up under the bottom of the jacket. I was not happy.

I normally take a couple of long ride during the winter time, usually to get somewhere at a certain time, so I can't just add a day to the trip, pull in somewheres dry and wait out the rain. On this trip, I ended up putting some cheap Coleman waterproof stuff from Walmart on under my Fieldsheer jacket and Firstgear pants. At least I was dry then, but with the supposedly waterproof motorcycle gear deciding to absorb water, I was carrying around another 30 lbs it felt like.

So I'm looking for a one piece riding suit that is waterproof. As in, I'm still dry after riding for five hours in the rain. If it doesn't meet this threshold, I'm not interested in it, no matter how many other great features the gear has. any suggestions?

I had a Frogtog overall. They were great, but after they fell apart, i have not been able to find another set. Anything that is 2 peice will leak.

MotoBoss one piece rain suit. Bought one out of need at a Cycle Gear years ago and it's been great. Goes over all of my other gear. It comes with this mesh looking stuff inside that would snag on my gear and make it hard to get into the suit, took the scissors to the mesh stuff until the inside was smooth and they're easy to get in and out now.

I appreciate the suggestion, but I'm looking for a one piece insulated suit that is waterproof, not another waterproof suit that goes over my insulated riding gear. I only want to carry one thing with me.

just rode through a 30 mile downpour commute in my roadcrafter light. not a drop of water.

My regular Roadcrafter with the water resistant zippers does not leak. I'm thinking of getting a Roadcrafter Light for hot weather riding.

p.s. Do you have the hiviz Roadcrafter light or grey / black?

Oh good, I've been thinking rain gear. Roadcrafter is on the list, I'm tired of the layered thing and I'm too far from work to just throw on a trash bag anymore.

High viz. I've commuted in it with the air vents open in temps in the high 90s and high humidity. I'm fine as long as I'm moving.

Olympia makes a nice one piece suit with a liner you can take out if its too warm for you.I have there one piece summer suit and like it alot.

revit has their infinity suit spendy but waterproof in my experience anyway. not insulated though. and I think Teiz also makes a waterproof 1 piece no experience on it. Motoport also has one i believe, also no experience on it.

my two piece is very similar in that regard , , , , 5 hour frog strangler, dry everywhere the stich was.
