Thoughtful comes to life

It runs now, but it needs more time.

A week ago I borrowed a truck and hauled "Thoughtful" the '78 honda cb400 with the hondamatic transmission up to park city.

I tinkered in a new fuel and oil filter, cleaned out the tank and fired it up for the first ride it has seen in many years.

The next step will be swapping in new spark plugs and dialing the carburetor. It lags really hard when i try to accelerate but responds well when I pull the choke.

The top end is clicking pretty loud and I think it might be valve clearances?
