You know, you do have to put oil in them every once in a while. Seriously, I have never heard of anyone destroying 3 engines, not even a racer.

That's because they have sponsors and money. I have a screw driver and a big hammer.

PS: You can take me up on the 250 EXC offer. It is not a new bike, you are not going to kill it and we always enjoy your company and "can do" attitude.

My cases are still bare, but with any luck I should have it together Saturday evening & time for a shakedown ride or two before the rug. I know now that that right hand switchback needs some momentum to deal with what follows

Don't be skeered. No valves. Unbolt the jug and have a look-see. Or bring it by. I have multiple hammers and both left and right handed metric crescent wrenches.

I should have my bike back together this Saturday FINALLY, but would love to see you push this back a week or two. I'm going, but I'd like to see it cool down even more & give me a couple of rides before then.

I would like to have a couple more weeks to prepair as well.

This is only a 38 mile ride each way, or so. But boy is it ever a butt kicker!

That is fine, why don't we look at the first weekend in November. I have the Moon Ride the last weekend. By then maybe Richard will be back from LV. Drew, is this better for you?

I wouldn't mind a Sunday either. Sundays are usually better than Saturdays for me. But like Drew said, it's your guys' call.
