just bought r90/6

The bike needs work, but pretty sweet. I was working on the bike and a wrench fell,We hit the positive terminal of the battery, sparks and now my turn signals, brake lights, and running lights dont work. No blown fuses either. Could this just be a relay or did i mess something up big time?
I can search but dont have the time. Im sorry starting another thread about the same question.

Fuses in headlight didn't pop? Sounds exactly like they did. Terminal 15u I think? Or 15a. I forget.

There are two fuse in the headlight. If you only see one the the other one fell out.

If the fuses didn't fail but the symptoms are the same, then that leads me to think something in the fuse circuit acted like a fuse and stopped conducting when the short occurred. I'd pull the bulb and the tank and look. A short like that usually causes some fireworks somewhere.

Removed head light and circuit board everything looked good. reconnected the battery and the blinkers and brake lights work now, but I have no running lights or license plate light. bulbs are all good. also the indicator on cluster when using blinkers just lights up once then turns off. is this normal or should it say on the hole time the blinker is on?

The indicator light on my 90/6 does the same thing.I am sure it is supposed to keep on flashing, as an indicator of signals on.
I was at an Airheads Tech Day a couple of weeks ago and was told that a black box in the bucket (flasher, relay)?
is hooped and has to be replaced.I have not had a chance to research this on my bike, but that is where I will
start looking.

I had this problem a few years ago. The indicators were giving me fits. I would put new bulbs in, they worked for a while. I would wiggle the bulbs they worked, a mile later they didn't work.

Turned out to be I was using the Western bulbs, 1157. When I replaced all the bulbs with 7853 (not sure the number is right, might be 7358) European bulbs they worked fine. The dual element European bulbs.

If you look on the contact end of the two styles. Western bulbs have a dot contact. European bulbs have a elongated shape for contact. I understand the two are not really the same diameter either. However they are so close that it's hard to see this. I have been told the size maters.
