his price is still cheaper than the safari. I sold my safari to get this tank because I don think KTM did it right with the tiny tank and safari has a purpose but everytime I rode with mine I was always wishing for a six gallon tank. If you have a colored safari its hard to tell where 6 gal is until you are at 7 gallons in. Tank is just to large. The only place I see the safari as an advantage is alask or deep into mexico.
Im stoked to get mine and looking forward to an easy to remove tank with a narrower profile further forward. That and not dealing with the lame side plastics.
