The GS was going up for sale in a few months anyway, when my R100GS special is built, but the market for a 180,000Km bike is not huge and I would have had to fit three new discs and pads at least for it to pass the roadworthy. I haven`t heard back from the insurers with a payout figure yet, but it will surely be more than I could have sold it for, if I could have sold it. I suppose I have to be thankful for small mercies.

Yesterdays ride: Noticeable extra grip at both ends but especially the front. MT21 thumbs up so far!

Yeah it was a good day alright. I went back to look for you guys all the way to the bridge but couldn't see hyde na hare of ya's. I never got to chew ya ear on trials bikes either but hopefully I'll have one in the shed for the next trip to the farm. I'm really keen to get my mits on one sooooon!

That sounds Great, Marty! Talking to Ross we are going to go up to the farm again, maybe April????Hope..

Anyway I will trailer the KTM up for that ride...could take that "new to you" trials bike if you want~~~~~~~~~~~
