No, I've been missing my '01 GS for a while. I've always regretted selling that one, so I found a 2000 R1150GS to occupy the old hanger spot.

Sorry to hear about the wreck. Glad you are doing well./ and when I think about it... also glad they didn't install one of those cable medians that are are putting up all over KS and MO. A testiment to wearing all the right gear, all the time. Guess it's time for you to check out the new Tigers :)

what was the final milage on your F800? I seemed to recall you were over 100k

Last confirmed data point was 3 days earlier in Kansas at 123,817 miles. I estimated 124,250 miles for the shop when i dropped her off post-crash.

Shame too. The engine was running like a champ. Smooth and quiet. Ah well....

what's shameful is that we bought the same bike at roughly the same time (even the color) and I have 30,000 miles and thought I rode a lot.

Thanks for the list of repairs. Did I see that you now have an 1150 to replace the 800? Very cool.

Guess you'll be moving to the "other" GS forum.

DB Glad to see you are OK and on a new mount. it was good luck to have that happen where the median was grass and dirt. The medians here in Vegas are all concrete and Armco with drivers that would treat a fallen rider like a speed bump.

Good on ya for ATGATT and getting back in the saddle. You were an inspiration to me with your cam chain repair although I opted for the master link fix.

We'll be missing your reports in Parallel Universe but will see you on the Boxer forum. Heal up quick!
