The squadron is bright and they have a decent pattern, but they do not have as good of coverage as the Diablo.

The great thing about them is the temperature and the weight.

I could be wrong but I don't think so, there were two Diablos out there that night. One was brand new. The other, my old light, had dozens of races and about a million miles on it. Plus there is not much that could be wrong with an HID system and it still function. It works or it doesn't (or it strobes and you go into a Petit Mal seizure) but you can't "dim" an HID.

The Squadron's biggest downfall is that (in the KTM mask) it has a blind spot created by the fender.

LEDs are great up to about 65mph... Above that you will out run thr light!!!
I have done HOURSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS of testing.
BD has a few new things they are working on ... BUT !

IMO!!!! Duel 8" HID is the BEST thing STILL !!!

Nope, During the Day I can run well over 100mph and the light emitted from my LED still gets down-course faster than me and my bike. By quite a bit, outpacing me by about 670,616,520mph.

annnd......I know, that is what I am using (Dual 8" HID). If you read the thread I stated that.

All LED's are not the same.

Hired!
The shoulder is a mess. A part of the humerus broke off where a muscle attaches. Some other parts are broken off and floating around. One of the major muscles is torn all the way through, another is holding on by "a few fibers". And a short list of smaller problems, a lot of them consistent with a posterior dislocation. Surgery is scheduled for next Friday, I can't wait. I do feel a lot more confident with the the Doctors in Vail.
