Rat - where is this?

Can anyone identify where this bike is? I want it, or one like it!

I'm not so sure you want your regulator and coils exposed like that.
Cool rat and all...but if you're going through all the trouble of welding and making it an art piece, at least hide the electronics. If anything, keep them out of the rain.

I always think they are from Australia. It looks like a bike from Mad Max is why I think that. Don't the guys down under build a lot of stuff like this?

I just saw that bike at the Owl's Head Vintage bike meet. I didn't get a chance to talk to the guy that owned it, but spent a long time looking at it. Interesting. All form, little function. I was pretty turned off by the fact that it had a bogus, empty turbo on it. It certainly drew the crowds though. Sitting right next to it was a beautiful /5 cafe racer that the wealthy owner had someone build for him. It had an amazing hand built aluminum tank somewhere in the neighborhood of 11 gallons, and many nice touches. It too drew quite a crowd. It was a shame when he started it up to ride away, and it ran like total shit. Usually the bikes I like the most at these gatherings are the dirtiest ones, which get ridden a lot.

Not many rat bikes down here ... you wouldn't be able to get down the road on something like that without be pulled over and getting a " canary " from the police.

Disston ... I think you might need to get out more often.

Jeez, and I went to the trouble to make a solo seat. All I had to do was walk a hundred yards to the barn and get an old saddle . . ..

It's an ummmhhhh err aaannn... interesting result from what's obviously a lot of time, planning, and effort.

-But it would have have been far easier to just go down to the Hog Shoppe, and buy one that's already both "pretty and functionless"....

in the video the builder admits to how impractical, and often, poorly built, it is. he also specifically says the saddle doesn't work well because it is slippery.
