In 1978... a handful of motorcycle enthusiasts began what has come to be known as the Sierra Safari. Exploring the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains on motorcycles thru wooded trails, snowy banks, rainy afternoons, cresting a hillside to see beautiful green meadow, crossing the "Sahara", riding past wild horses, forgotten fishing streams, and forging across rugged jeep trails. Over the years, the Sierra Safari has remained what it was set out to be... A rugged sightseeing trail adventure for all levels of off-highway motorcycle enthusiasts. The ride has gained the respect of many of it's participants. You will travel thru ghost towns , amazing canyons and beautiful country..

Dick Allen has been running a multil day dual sport/ off road ride on the 395 Corridor from Mammoth to Bridgeport for easily over three decades now and has it down to a "T". Well its that time again. The dates are set and there are new options with a new pricing tiers.


I have done these a few years and have had nothing but fun and met some great people.

If This ride can be done by woman on a xr 100 just about anyone can make the trails and he has easy routes for you big bike riders..

Dang.... I was up there riding this last week and it was GREAT ! ....but unfortunately I'm going to miss this AGAIN !

I need the sign-ups to be six months in advance so I don't get my plans booked up end-to-end !

Like all the previous events, I'm sure this ride won't disappoint !

Next year I'll be retired and be able to do it !

I second that! I remember quite a few years back meeting him in the parking lot at Gorman. He didn't even know me and let me tag along to help ride/build the rocky bypass and lay interlocking bricks across Snowy creek. It was because of him that Snowy was able to stay open.

Sadly, Snowy has not been open for the last few seasons….

That was one of the best memories and funnest days of riding I ever had! Thanks Dick!

Yo chuck, its me. No idea why its jacked up, the download on my computer is bad ass. I guess that's why I'm just a copier repairman with a cool tool kit i'll phuck with it tonight & re download.
