May join you guys for Sunday ride

On my KLX400. I'll stay tuned for more details. I live out in Wildwood off of 44 - do you know your route from St. Anthony's area? Wondering if I could hook up with you guys further south. Interested in riding on anything off-road.

Update!!! Saturday ride instead

Kevin called me on the way home and he has a good point, the weather should be good for most of the day tomorrow vs. storms Sat. night into the early a.m. It could make for some sloppy riding on Sun. Sorry for the short notice but it's fall and we have to be flexible. If some guys still want to meet up for a Sunday ride you'll have to hook it up yourself. Post it here so everyone can see who's riding when.

Mo. riders update: There is a quickie mart on 21 south just past St. Anthony's and Dierbergs. It's on the left and I think it's a Phillips 66, that's where we'll meet up at about 8:20 or so.

Lunch In Bixby

Here's the first part of the route. 21 to DeSoto, stop at gas station at H. Rt. on H towards Richwoods. A few miles out of town there is a gravel road going left, next stop Potosi. At the gravel road, the smaller, (and faster), bikes can go ahead, especially if they have GPS or know the roads. Just check on our KLR riders from time-to-time, may stop for pictures...I've no GPS yet so if someone in the group could lead us through the gravel section, that would be great.
At Potosi, the classic route to Bixby should work. P to C, right to DD then south on DD to 32. Right on 32 to Bixby. After lunch? Who knows.

I think we are meeting you guys near St Anthony's. there is a shell station on the left at the first light south of 270.
8:15?? I've got Kevin's number, I'll call him, if for some reason I can't make it.

Saturday's Ride

Jeff,

We'll stop by the Shell station first then see if anyone is at the other station, no big deal. See you at 8:15 or so.

Just did the Lost Creek/Massas Creek loop this afternoon. Dry as a bone, no streams to cross at all, but beautiful colors.

Had a blast today. Started poorly, literally, with a almost dead battery.
Had to peel off from the group of 5, hope you guys had a good ride.
Got a battery in Potosi, went to Bixby ASAP, I figured I missed the guys I split off from. Then went exploring.
The colors are nice..

Ran into this guy. We parted company without a problem.

Found some "new to me" fun roads.

Today's Ride

Jeff,

Glad you were able to find a battery in Potosi. We were in Bixby about an hour after you so no chance of catching you. The tree colors were great, especially on 21 going home. We came back via DD to C to P into Potosi, awesome twisties. Saw tons of Beemer riders, (of course they're all fluorescent!). Talked to a few at Bixby, they are quite nice. Hope the storms don't hit their camp too bad tonight.
