Tod & brp

We're thinking on riding the Tail of the Dragon and BRP on Thanksgiving weekend. What is the weather like up there this time of the year? If we can ride to Knoxville TN in one day, is it doable to make it back to NJ by sunday on BRP?

BRP in Nov/Dec

It's our version of cold in Nov/Dec around here and usually somewhat wet. Most of the seasonal places long the BRP are closed, you can always find a place to stay and eat off the parkway in a town. Mornings are foggy. If you have heated clothing and water resistant clothing you'll have a tale to tell when you get home.

It's just about a full days ride from Asheville NC to my neighborhood - Fancy Gap VA. Could pick up either hwy 77 or 81 and take them back to Jersey area if time gets too tight.
