inmate MIA **resolved**
So this isn't really a trip report yet, but because this website was primarily to blame, it is now.
So I get to chating with a guy from South Africa, Burpsa, and he wants to come ride. I say sure, get to Mesquite Nevada and I will meet you there. I then waited for the message saying he needed $10,000 and would return it to to me ten fold. The last email I got from him said he was changing his plans and was going all the way to Caliente, Nv via "dirt roads and the rail road." I don't think he got me reply that told him that was a bad idea. Anyhow, according to his voice mail he made it a dozen or so miles north of Vegas and called to tell me he was headed to Moapa and would get gas there. But there is no gas there, he would have to drive to logandale to find gas. And by that time he might as well had gone to Mesquite, like we planned. That was 5 hours ago, no word since. So now the adventure begins. I am heading out for S&R. |

Well, I know he is an experienced rider. I hope he knew the area before he headed out there. Be sure and keep us updated on the effort.
If you need a hand, post up.
