The Stars of Star Island

Would you trust this man to get you the right part?

Or the man in the red & black jacket to fix or service your bike?

Well if you frequent Star Island Motorsports in PV AZ these two guys always come through with the help & parts you need, but they hardly ever get out on a ride. Sunday morning early Shaun, Nick, Glenn , Mark & myself took a little ride up to Tusayn. Ate Pizza, had a few beers, changed flat tires & came home. 289 miles in all.
Sunrise at my house.

Shaun's bike is not street legal so he rode my WRR. Color cordinated of coarse

This is Nicks bullet proof DR650 kicker. A Man's dualsport.

Shaun/Jayson at on of our stops

No action shots today. Mark discovered he had a front flat at lunch. After lunch we changed it & rode over to get gas at which time he decovered he had a rear flat
Nick & Glenn headed for home after lunch & Mark, Shaun & I slabbed it to Williams & took the FR354 cutt off to Perkinsville Rd. I think 354 has more rocks than ever, great fun! A good time was had by all. Great to see those guys get out for a ride.

Cool stuff. I gather that after our reconnaissance trip in the wrong direction, you were able to lead these guys along with no wrong turns? Two flats sucks.

Good to see those guys get out for a ride.

Star Island is where I buy parts for the Big Black Pig.

They are an oddity among Big 4 dealers--they actually stock parts!!

IIRC I talked with Shaun about going to the GWAR show in Flag.
