It's a 'small world' indeed..... although that does look a bit larger than the bar I remember. ...but I could be wrong (I often am! Lol!)

Anything from £2:00 - £5:00 a pint depending on what, and where you are drinking.
£2:00 a pint is cheap and from somewhere like a Wetherspoons chain Pub.... most pubs would probably be around £3:00 - £3:50 a pint ........and £5:00 a pint in a more expensive hotel.

So in US dollars about $ 5:50 on average .

I knew she was back from their website, nice to get the last trip of the year in though, wish I had been there.
I was amazed at the number of people on board during my trip who had been following her all round the coast for the summer. One couple my son and I spoke to had been on just about every trip this year, I suppose you would at least get value from the supporters group membership

Sounthend Pier is a lot tuffer than a bit of timber it seems, standing on the pier imediatly above her as she docked I never even felt a tremor, saw the flying splinters though

Hey Kamchat, just because you know the roads so well in Scotland..
I just want to check with you if Vicki Butler-Henderson is right when she says that the A 93 (Old Military Rd) is one of Great Britain's best roads to ride on. I saw her running towards Braemar, Cairngorms National Park, in the TV program Fifth Gear. I don't know if her statement was because she drove a Jaguar XJ Supersport. Anyway, it looked to be a lovely road :)

She's right - it IS a fantastic road ...there are some pics of us on it on page 26 of this thread (posts no.380 & 381) Blairgowrie - Braemar.
