Nice... I've been wanting to take my F800GS up through some of the roads in Mendo, but I have been reluctant to explore those solo having never been there.

Somewhere between M and N, I found moto nirvana. It was a Tuesday morning on the section of Hwy 1 between the 101 and Ft. Bragg. Amazing. I think we only had to go around one car the entire drive. Good road. Good friends. No traffic (no cops...). It was the end of an awesome road trip... Everything was one with the world that morning. I hope you all have experienced the same at some point. If you haven't ridden that section, I recommend it. I have been meaning to get back up there at some point to see if it was as good as I remember it. Time will tell...

I will definitely hit up Hwy 36 if I am in the area as well...

Re: Low Gap Road, a mile or two out from Ukiah a sign is still posted saying the road is closed in 10 miles. I took a chance that either I'd be able to get through or it was actually fixed and they hadn't taken the sign down yet. I figured the good ole boys up there wouldn't let the road sit for this long without some sort of repair.

Turns out I was right. Wasn't really a "repair", more like a couple of truck beds full of dirt dumped on the road to make it passable. Worked for me!

Gonna make it down there to the SFMC one of these Thursdays John!

Yes, visiting this ADV thread now causes my computer to auto download some crap programmed called "GinoPlayer_Setup.exe". Actually, it caused it to download multiple versions.

Google Chrome browser also warned me of this site containing embedded malware.
